| Community Banks—Top 100 by ROE |

The June issue of ABA Banking Journal ran an article showing the top 25 community banks by 2007 return on average equity in four categories: Non S-Corporation banks and thrifts under and over $100 million in assets, and S-corp banks and thrifts under and over $100 million. All print rankings were based on consolidated statistics for the highest regulatory reporting level available for each institution. Below, we present expanded tables showing the top 100 banks in each category, plus the top 100 banks at the charter level (unconsolidated), which presents a different snapshot of the industry.
