During the summer an ABA Banking Journal editor, attending a private banker meeting, heard this exasperated complaint:
“I just wish I could wish I could read, all in one place, how the CAMELS system works these days.”
We brought that heartfelt sentiment to Community Banking blogger Jeff Gerrish, and he produced a six-part series about CAMELS. Gerrish, an attorney and consultant, has been helping banks improve their CAMELS and work with their regulators for decades.
