  6. One community banker we know CCs his assistant whenever he agrees to an appointment from his handheld device.

  8. At the end of the message agreeing to the appointment, he ends with: "Dear _____, please calendar this."

  10. This saves dropped appointments, and eliminates time wasted fine tuning the gadget.
