I am a female banker and have been in the industry for over 16 years. I started as a switchboard operator and now manage the Audit Dept for a $500 million community bank. I have had just a handful (if that) of positive female role models in my career and would like to see more women doing just that. I agree with the article in that often women are harder or less encouraging on other women and perhaps it is a territorial thing. I als agree with the statement "seeing is believing" because our actions do speak louder than words so women really need to walk the walk and set the bar high for younger women coming up through the ranks. - Shannon T
