Ted, I agree. In the short run plastic is the cheaper solution. The future of plastic, however, will be similar to that of checks. 			<description>I think the main question in this case becomes one of timing.  I think your point is a good one taking the long view - but is there a value or business case in the next few years (while cards are still prevalent) to deploying instant card solutions versus traditional mail and receive in 3-5 days.  Fully weighted costs for an instant solution per card are higher - so is the benefit long term worth it? - Ted Josephson</description>
