ABA Banking Journal’s 22nd annual review of top-performing banks examines the universe of banks, bank holding companies and savings institutions and ranks them by yearend return on average equity. The rankings are based on SEC filings for public institutions and regulatory filings for non-public and foreign-owned institutions, and are prepared by Capital Performance Group, Washington, D.C., our long-time partner in the Top-Performer Series.

Capital Performance Group LLC provides advisory, planning, analytic, and project management support to the financial services industry. The firm is an ABA Service Member.

Below are links to the rankings for the large-bank category (over $10 billion in assets). The online tables show additional listings than could be presented in the print article of ABA Banking Journal’s April edition. There is also a link to the article, which contains trends and analysis by CBG analysts.
