ABA, through its subsidiary the Corporation for American Banking, endorsed a technology solution offered by GlobalVision Systems that combats a wide range of financial fraud. The solution suite, Guardian Officer, uses technology that empowers financial institutions of all sizes to prevent losses and damages caused by fraud.

Guardian Officer enforces and automates the process of monitoring, detecting, and reporting fraudulent activities among all transactions of all product lines in a financial institution. It is designed to prevent and reduce the incidence of check fraud, check kiting, deposit fraud, ATM fraud, ACH fraud, wire-fraud, debit and credit card fraud, among other fraud activities.

The technology adaptively integrates intelligence, scenarios, and risks from hundreds of dimensions to monitor each client and each group of related clients.

In 2006, ABA endorsed GlobalVision's Patriot Officer, which provides anti-money laundering and antiterrorist financing solutions for banks.
