Clairmail Inc., which provides mobile banking and payment solutions, joined the RSA Secured Partner Program to permit interoperability between Clairmail's Mobile Banking Solution and RSA Adaptive Authentication.

Clairmail's financial institution customers will now have the option of securing their mobile web and Smart Client deployments with the same risk-based authentication platform currently used by over 8,000 organizations in the healthcare, financial services, government, insurance, automotive, real estate, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical industries to protect more than a quarter of a billion users worldwide.

 

Especially critical in light of advanced mobile banking functionality, including mobile remote deposit and person-to-person payments, company representatives said this partnership improves financial institutions' ability to mitigate transaction risk and to protect and prevent breaches of sensitive banking information.

UMB Bank, Kansas City, Mo., will be the latest to go live with the enhanced security solution.
