Trustwave released its cloud-based file integrity monitoring (FIM) solution, suitable for institutions of all sizes.

FIM checks for additions, modifications, or deletions of sensitive files or other stored data. The product can inform business stakeholders of unauthorized system or application access and indicate the potential presence of malware or other malicious activity. Deploying FIM as an ongoing simple or intermediate control can help organizations minimize these risks to avoid a data breach.

Trustwave FIM also helps meet specific compliance needs, addressing regulatory and internal compliance requirements. Specific to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), Trustwave FIM addresses the requirement for file integrity monitoring and alerting (Req. 11.5).
