ECM firm partners with digital-delivery service E-mail

Pitney Bowes selected Systemware, Inc., an enterprise content-management company, as a technology partner for the Volly secure digital delivery service.

The collaboration on digital mail will help Systemware customers and prospects to transform, package, and electronically deliver customer communications—statements, monthly bills, policy notices—through the Volly secure digital delivery service.

Volly is expected to launch to the consumer market later this year.

“The majority of bills are now paid online, but only a small minority of bills and statements are delivered digitally,” says Chuck Cordray, president of Volly, Pitney Bowes. “By bringing more mailers together onto a single platform, we will create the density that will drive more consumers to choose online delivery.”

With its Digital Mail Gateway, Systemware transforms raw print streams of statements, policy records, shareholder communications, and many other types of documents into an exact copy of the paper notice, and delivers an encoded and encrypted file to a consumer’s digital mailbox.
