Mobile report access for financial advisors E-mail

As part of its wealth-management mobility strategy, SunGard launched WealthStation Mobile Report Access to give financial advisors remote access to their clients’ WealthStation planning reports and facilitate client meetings outside the office.

When preparing for meetings, advisors have traditionally put together presentation packages by collecting and collating paper-based reports. WealthStation Mobile Report Access—also available on mobile tablets—helps reduce such printing needs and associated costs. Advisors can interactively discuss the financial topics they have analyzed, scenarios they have created, and other relevant planning issues in-person. To ensure security, the new system does not store client data on the device accessing it.

WealthStation Mobile Report Access provides “a more dynamic client experience with mobile solutions that offer greater transparency and engagement,” notes Jennifer Valdez, senior vice-president, product management and strategic design for SunGard’s wealth management business.

According to Forrester Research, three-quarters of the world’s population are connected to information through mobile devices. “For firms, the mobile internet presents a watershed opportunity to create more continuous relationships with their clients,” maintains Bill Doyle, vice-president and principal analyst at Forrester.
