Myriad Systems Inc., a national provider of print and mail, e-statement, and web-based item processing solutions to U.S. financial institutions, announced that it received a U.S. patent covering the company's archive capabilities. The patent covers technology in MSI’s suite of digital document solutions, including Statementse, a fifth-generation, nteractive electronic representation of the traditional paper financial statement; CheckUp and CheckUp21, a check image archive solution providing all the capabilities needed to store, manage, and retrieve check images over the internet from any web-enabled desktop; and DIGIARK, a full-page document archive software solution designed to store and search full-page document images. By leveraging the Adobe Flash plug-in or other rendering technologies, such as HTML5, the company says its e-statement appears seamlessly integrated with the user’s online banking experience and makes the process of opening, viewing, and navigating the statement content dynamic and instantaneous. Advanced search capabilities allow the consumer to search for any string of data across the entire history of statements, notices, and check images. “The demand for electronic documents and archive systems continues to grow as more and more clients realize both the environmental benefits and money-saving aspects of going paperless,” said Shaun Riney, MSI president and CEO.
