Open Solutions Inc. and Ensenta entered into a partnership to provide clients with a comprehensive set of consumer capture solutions, including mobile capture, no-envelope ATM capture, and internet-enabled scanner capture.

The new partnership allows Open Solutions’ clients to provide their customers and members with the latest in consumer remote deposit capture technology, offering greater convenience and faster funds-availability while reducing risk and cost for the institution.

Through Open Solutions’ new mobile banking platform, DNAmobile, institutions can offer their customers and members an integrated mobile capture solution for smartphones. Open Solutions will also facilitate envelope-less deposits at image-enabled ATMs. Additionally, institutions using Open Solutions’ internet banking platform, DNAweb, can offer customers and members the flexibility to deposit checks using any Twain-compliant scanner connected to an internet-enabled computer.

After capture, checks are evaluated against more than 100 custom image quality and risk factors. Seamless integration with Open Solutions’ DNA core system, DNAmobile, and DNAweb, provides straight-through processing of mobile and internet deposits as well as immediate funds availability and transaction history updating.
