Payment processing platform opened to market-specific applications E-mail

US Dataworks, Inc., announced that its Clearingworks Platform now has the ability for apps to be developed and implemented using a "drop-in" process.

Clearingworks' open architecture enables US Dataworks’ clients and even third-party developers to implement apps specific to their business needs, all while maintaining the security and integrity of core payment processing.

A recent Gartner report stated that, "consumers' and merchants' immediate requirements are for payment instruments tailored to solve specific problems." The app-friendly Clearingworks Platform enables business-users and developers to create their own specific apps. Apps can now be plugged directly into the Clearingworks Platform to further extend the core payment processing for all payment channels. Combined with the Clearingworks cloud computing environment and monthly subscription model, customers of all sizes can save on IT costs and implement quick, reliable solutions to their business problems, the company said.

The first app to be launched on the Clearingworks Platform was the PayItFast App for processing walk-in payments. Additional apps are scheduled to be released later this quarter. All apps developed must be certified in the market and installed using the company’s "drop-in" licensing process. Apps will be priced individually in the market based on primary business functionality.
