Bluepoint Solutions and Open Solutions expanded their partnership to provide Open Solutions' DNA-tMagic clients a teller transaction archive and reporting application. Following the completion of each transaction conducted at the teller station, Bluepoint's Receipt Manager application automatically launches to capture and create a detailed summary of the transaction. This information is then archived and made immediately available to authorized users within the financial institution as well as account holders upon request. Additionally, institutions can create customized prompts asking tellers to perform a variety of functions including verify signatures, perform cash drawer tracking, and/or highlight relevant marketing or product information to the account-holder. Dave Reim, director of imaging and loan origination for Open Solutions says, "Users of Open Solutions' DNA-tMagic already understand the efficiencies and savings gained by capturing checks at the point-of-presentment. With the addition of the Receipt Manager application, our clients looking to deepen their existing relationships with Bluepoint can now have a real-time, electronic archive of every transaction conducted at the teller line to complement their other Bluepoint solutions. Institution staff can use the captured data to create business intelligence reports, ensure transaction accuracy, and better serve their customers by eliminating the time spent searching for requested information. Plus, with Receipt Manager, DNA-tMagic customers can recommend relevant services and products in-person to the customer before they leave the building." Bluepoint Solutions and Open Solutions initially partnered in 2008 to launch DNA-tMagic, the industry's first fully integrated teller capture application. Receipt Manager can be used in conjunction with DNA-tMagic or independently, depending on the type of transaction.
