Bluepoint Solutions issued a new version of its merchant remote deposit capture solution, QwikDeposit Pro, improving usability with a redesigned user interface that reduces training and allows financial institutions to speed adoption and attract business accounts.
The solution allows merchants to deposit checks from an office location at any time of day using a multicheck scanner and internet connection.
QwikDeposit Pro provides added convenience and security to business account holders, enabling quicker availability of funds and eliminating physical transportation of checks, as well as applying sophisticated multifactor authentication to deposit activity. The self-service RDC solution automatically totals and balances batches of checks deposited directly from the business location, reducing a financial institution's operational expenses and teller traffic by enabling large-volume business deposits to be conducted outside of the branch. Image quality analysis, MICR line correction, courtesy/legal amount verification, and duplicate detection are automatically performed, allowing the merchant to make corrections prior to transmission.
QwikDeposit Pro is designed specifically to meet the needs of community financial institutions and to help in their efforts of building market share among small businesses. With more than 20 million small businesses in the United States, this represents a significant area of growth for community institutions.
The product supports multiple accounts for deposits and is compatible with most check scanners. Deposits can be combined with all other Bluepoint capture points, both in-branch and remote, to compile checks into a single cash letter, perform enterprise-wide duplicate detection, and provide a unified check archive for simplified research.
